Mothers Day Card

Just wanted to share the Mother's Day card I made this morning.  I was sitting here thinking of all the things she use to tell me when I was a kid...it filled 2 pages.  I picked out some of them and made the larger background tag.  I used Close to My Heart papers and sentiment stamp, a digi stamp 4 Joy image, and an SEI embroidered rosette.  The digi Stamp 4 Joy image is colored with watercolor pencils and pop dotted with 3D Foam Squares.  I used EZ Runner Double sided adhesive to attach everything.  The faux stitching was done with an .05 CTMH pen. The card size if 5.5 by 8.5.  Let me know what you think and please follow my blog.  I will be entering a couple of contests with this one.

    I love how you made your own tag using quotes from your Mom, that makes the card so much more special. I also liked how the quotes weren't just sappy ones, haha. Your shading is so perfect. Thanks so much for sharing your work with us at Love to Scrap! Challenge Blog.

    The list is amazing! It is amazing how all the mothers on the world speak the same language, after all! And their love for us is greater than we'll ever know, even if we have a kids of our own and feel the same about them...
